GARZO LUBRICATOR BOX CONTROLS MODEL 211
GARZO manufactures a wide line of oil level controllers and
shutdowns for forced feed lubricators. These units can be mounted in a number of different ways. The controller
assures an adequate supply of oil to the pumps and keeps the running gear submerged in oil.
All of these devices are available in low pressure or high pressure configurations. All are available with a low
oil level magneto or tattletale grounding switch. The low oil level grounding switch closes when there is a
loss of oil level of approximately ½" from the normal level. The switch is submerged in oil suppressing the
danger of arcing.
|
The key to the performance of the GARZO controller line lies in the patented float valve design.
The valve ball is located above the seat and is forced up and out of the seat by the weight of the float on
the float arm. The displacer float principle enables the GARZO oil level controllers to operate with higher
supply pressures to the controller. The oil supply tanks can be elevated to a position adequate for oil to
flow properly at low temperatures without flooding the lubricator, and allows the float valve to be used as
a check valve during temporary abnormal high source pressures. |
|
The GARZO Models 211-08-1 "Little Joe" oil level controller mounts in an empty pump pocket of the lubricator.
This unit is compatible with various low pressure oil level supply sources such as atmospheric tanks or low
pressure header systems. The maximum allowable supply pressure is 8 psig or 182" water column. This unit is equiped with a low level grounding switch. |
The GARZO Model 211-070-1 "Little Joe" is the high pressure companion to the low pressure Model 211-08-1. The allowable supply pressure to this unit is 70 psig. This unit is equiped with a low level grounding switch. |

The GARZO Models 211A-08-1 "Little Joe" oil level controller mounts in an empty pump pocket of the lubricator.
This units is compatible with various low pressure oil level supply sources such as atmospheric tanks or low
pressure header systems. The maximum allowable supply pressure is 8 psig or 182" water column. This model is furnished with a built in oil filter and a low level grounding switch. |
The GARZO Model 211A-070-1 "Little Joe" is the high pressure companion to the low pressure Model 211A-08-1.
The allowable supply pressure to this unit is 70 psig. This model is furnished with a built in oil filter and
a low level grounding switch. |

The Model 211-PNEU is a pneumatic low level shutdown which mounts in an empty pump pocket. The switch is snap acting and vents on low level. The switch is rated up to 70 psig. |
The Model 211-EX features an explosion proof low level switch with an Underwriters Laboratory Class I, Group C & D Division 1 and C.S.A. label. The switch is a three wire type with one normally closed contact. The switch is single pole double throw. The contacts are rated: 15A-125, 250, 480 VAC; ½A-125 VDC; ¼A-250 VDC; ? HP-125 VAC; ¼ HP-25 VAC. |

The Model 211C-04-EX is a companion to the Model 211-EX. This unit is a combination unit consisting of a low pressure float valve and the same explosion proof switch as the Model 211-EX. This model is used when space is limited in the pump pocket. The Models feature an explosion proof switch with an Underwriters Laboratory Class I, Group C " D Division 1 and C.S.A.
